ECHN-PT

The Early Career Hydrogeologists’ Network (ECHN) is an official network of the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) providing a forum for hydrogeologists at the start of their professional or academic careers.

ECHN promotes the involvement of early career hydrogeologists’ (ECHs) within IAH, through the participation in congresses, the various national chapters and IAH work-groups or discussion forums and the exchange of information and ideas. The Network also disseminates professional opportunities around the world as well as the scientific developments and research carried out by its members. The Portuguese Group of ECHN (ECHN-PT) is a platform dedicated to Portuguese hydrogeologists’ at the beginning of their careers, with the main goal of facilitating their connection to ECHN, AIH-GP and IAH.

The goals of ECHN-PT are:

• Promote the social and professional network of ECHs;

• Foment the relationship between ECHs and senior members of IAH, through sharing of skills, experience and knowledge;
• Share professional opportunities for ECHs, as well as stimulate the discussion and sharing of ideas and projects related to groundwater;
